Simplify complex procedures and consume them hands-free

Vantage for RealWear provides a simple voice-controlled, hands-free procedural experience to display step-by-step instructions. This is a perfect solution for field technicians requiring a hands-free solution to follow detailed instructions and log/track their work.

Instruct Procedures for HoloLens 2:
Utilize your CAD data in a hands-free experience

Vuforia Instruct users can now view their CAD-based procedures on the HoloLens 2. This means that in addition to text, images, and videos, users can now take advantage of wayfinding and 3D overlay features. What's more, procedures that contain a 3D model also include automatically generated AR Live Guides of the respective physical object when viewing the procedure on a HoloLens 2 device.

Reduce the errors associated with traditional instruction methods

By including CAD-based model tracking & CAD-based markers, Instruct users can now use 3D data from their local 3D tool or PLM software and utilize it for procedures on the HoloLens 2. Whether guiding a user to a specific part, calling out a point of interest on a real-world object, or digitally highlighting assembly parts - 3D data can now be used to create powerful experiences on the HoloLens 2 to reduce errors and simplify complex tasks.

What's New in Vuforia Expert Capture/Instruct?

Here's a spotlight of the most exciting Vuforia Expert Capture & Instruct updates:

Step Check™ (Beta):
Visual Inspections just got smarter

We are excited to announce the beta launch of Step Check™ for all Vuforia Instruct users!  Step Check™ is perfect for inspection procedures where users need to visually verify if a step has been performed correctly or not in Pass/Fail scenarios.

Fewer mistakes, faster turnover, automated reports

With the help of AI, Step Check™ automatically identifies the state of an object with easy-to-understand AR visualizations and lets the user know if everything is correct or not. For example, you can see our Step Check™ visual inspection guides the user to ensure the fuel cap is not forgotten before the next snowmobile adventure - and even automatically documents the whole process in Insights for easy reporting.

Audit History Tab:
GMP-compliant reporting for Expert Capture & Instruct

The Audit History tab is a secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trail that independently records the date and time of operator entries and actions that create, modify, or delete published content.

Stay GMP compliant with a time series of content creation activity

The Audit History tab allows managers and admins to view all notable events that occur during the procedure’s lifecycle. Filters make it quick and easy to search, view, and generate reports that contain detailed versioning data from procedures in an organization.
