We are happy to announce 3.26 Vantage for iOS is now available through the Apple App Store. This is a follow-up from our previous announcement (here) where we noted our 3.26 Vantage for iOS was not yet available.

As a reminder from our previous announcement - customers should update to this 3.26 version as soon as possible to be ready for our 3.27 release next month:

We are requiring customers to update their Vantage mobile and eyewear apps to be ready for our upcoming server release (3.27). Using the latest available version ensures full compatibility, security, and support. Official support is limited to the current version and the one directly preceding it, and earlier versions may experience intermittent issues or fail to operate reliably.

🔧 Key Improvement & Fixes

• E-Signatures on review & approval improvement -- any federated user can now e-sign if entitled and functionally consistent with E-Signatures for playback. Previously, customers needed to request their domain to be added to an allowed list.
• Improved E-Signature details in Vuforia Insights -- .csv exports now include E-Signature metadata; and users can now filter their Insights view based on E-Signature status.

📣 Update your Mobile & Eyewear apps!

We are requiring customers to update their Vantage mobile and eyewear apps to be ready for our upcoming server release (3.27). Using the latest available version ensures full compatibility, security, and support. Official support is limited to the current version and the one directly preceding it, and earlier versions may experience intermittent issues or fail to operate reliably.

NOTE: The release of Vantage iOS through the Apple App Store is currently pending. We will issue a subsequent announcement as soon as Vantage iOS becomes available.

⚠ Important Upcoming Changes

Please be aware of the upcoming changes:

1. Scheduled downtime with our 3.27 (July) release -- reminder of our scheduled downtime announcement (here) where Vuforia Expert Capture will be temporarily unavailable on Tuesday, July 14 from 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM ET (4:30 AM - 5:30 AM GMT).
2. End of support for x-api-key with our 3.27 (July) release -- with our 3.27 release will end support for x-api-key and API customers will be required to use Service Principals to access our APIs. Go here to learn how to setup Service Principals for your Org. The x-api-key was enabled initially as a temporary solution for early API customers.
3. End of support for Vuforia Vantage on RealWear on December 1, 2026 -- reminder for those who missed our announcement. Go here to read the full announcement.

We are sending this notice to inform you our decision to end our support for Vuforia Vantage for RealWear on December 1, 2026.

For context - the decision was based on observing declining adoption and use of RealWear (and eyewear devices, in general) when viewing procedures. At the same time, we have observed our customers increase their use towards readily familiar and more accessible mobile devices (and, specifically, iOS and Android tablets and phones).

Please note we will continue to support and encourage use of Vuforia Capture on RealWear for authoring procedures.

E-Signatures provides GMP customers another control point in their efforts to make and keep their products safe for people. In addition, Managers can see if and when an E-Signature was captured in our Insights module.

• New Product Setting for Preview control -- Admins can now disable the preview option in Vantage. This control prevents untracked use of procedures by workers (which could be flagged as a risk during audits). 

UX improvements

You should experience faster loading of your list of procedures and assets in our Editor! In particular, it should be noticeable when browsing folders to see your list of procedures and assets in them.

Reminder: Content Delivery Network (CDN) Change

We changed over to a different Content Delivery Network (CDN) service used to deliver Vuforia content (including images, videos, 3D models and published procedures). If you have not yet done so already - please verify and update your firewall settings have the following domains on your allowlist:

We are excited to announce our 3.24 release is now live! 

UX improvements

• The Vuforia Editor and Vantage Web video player now uses the browser's default player controls. A secondary progress bar will now be visible to show much of the video is buffered. This progress indicator helps customers who have been experiencing video playback buffering issues where they can see if their network is unable to stay ahead of the playback rate.
• The Step Check dashboard now provides explanatory text in the upload dialog to clarify the purpose of custom image uploads. As a reminder - the custom image uploads are to set a focus area (and those images are not used for standard Step Check training). 

Upcoming Content Delivery Network (CDN) Change

We are changing over to a different Content Delivery Network (CDN) service  used to deliver Vuforia content (including images, videos, 3D models and published procedures). To ensure uninterrupted access to Vuforia content all clients, including those using API integrations, must update their firewall settings in preparation for an upcoming change to our Content Delivery Network (CDN) by adding the following domains to their allowlist:

• atomiclioncms-cbadesg9e0fmaucz.a03.azurefd.net
• atomiclioncmseu-a0htf5hbfkaxfff4.a03.azurefd.net

API Pagination Required for /reports

The all parameter has now been removed from the /reports API. Pagination is now mandatory for retrieving long result lists. For more information, see the “Pagination Results” section in Make the API Call.

We’re excited to share that Vuforia Expert Capture 3.22.0 is now available! This release focuses on making authoring faster and more intuitive, improving upload reliability, and enhancing approval workflows — all while continuing to streamline the user experience across the platform. Read on to learn more.

Vuforia Editor

This release introduces several enhancements that make procedure creation more intuitive, approval workflows more transparent, and uploads more reliable:

• Faster Authoring Workflow: A new Create Procedure button and improved icon labels make it easier to go from capture to procedure.
• Improved Approval Management: Clear warnings now appear when reordering or adding approvers mid-workflow to avoid unintentional resets.
• Easier Part Set Assignment: Add parts to a set directly from the 3D Viewer’s right-click menu, with smarter tooltips and button behavior.
• More Reliable Uploads & Error Messaging: Uploads now retry after network issues, and error messages clearly explain file type issues.

Vuforia Vantage

This update also brings usability improvements to the web experience, helping users navigate procedures more efficiently:

• Keyboard Shortcuts for Faster Navigation:
  Use the down arrow to move to the next step and the up arrow to return to the previous step—making desktop navigation smoother.

External API

To ensure consistency and align with best practices, this release includes an important change to how procedure execution data is accessed:

• GET Method Removed: The GET route for accessing procedure execution data (/customer-events//report) has been permanently removed. Please use the POST method going forward.
