What's New In Vuforia Expert Capture?
Here's a spotlight on what's new in the Vuforia Expert Capture 3.14.0 release:
Procedure Download:
Share and archive procedure data
For this release, we have launched a new ability to generate a simplified download of procedure source content. This new feature ensures that colleagues across your organization can access your procedure source content for data access, retention, and archiving purposes. You can now find the download functionality in the PUBLISH tab and the VERSIONS AND HISTORY table, which downloads a .zip containing a .html file. Moreover, you will be happy to know that this more robust procedure download is possible for any current or previously published versions.
APIs and Integrations:
Get connected to your procedure data
In the last release, we introduced new API and Integration functionality, an area where you can expect continued development. In this release, we have introduced new filtering options to get your desired data with less logic and development on your side. We have also made some changes to existing methods - to find out more, simply check out our complete list of API updates.
- Connect to your Learning Management System to ensure your employees are ready for their next task by retrieving the completion status of procedures.
- Connect to your Field Service Management System to record the completion of procedures executed as part of service and maintenance tickets.
- Connect to your servers to store an audit history of the procedure and step completion status (pass/fail), including images captured during execution, for proof that work was completed as expected.
- Connect to other work systems to enable frontline workers to directly access the Vuforia Expert capture catalog in their daily task management tool.
But that's not all!
With each release, we have a ton of new improvements. Here are just a few other highlights from the last releases:
- Step Check - The Automatic Image Feedback feature has been updated to reduce the number of blurry images captured.
- Step Check - Authors with read permissions can now see the confidence value for a Step Check and use the filters on the Step Check dashboard.
- Audit history - Additional data columns are available in the Audit History Table - now including changes to your organization.
